Syed Ghayyur Ahmed is an Associate at Daudpota International and his practice focuses on Pakistan and the Middle East.

Mr. Ghayyur’s expertise vests in transactional and litigation matters relating to intellectual property, competition, corporate and commercial law.

Mr. Ghayyur has experience of handling a variety of trademark, copyright and design matters and advises clients on prosecution and enforcement of intellectual property rights in Pakistan and the Middle East. He regularly represents clients in opposition, cancellation and related legal actions and manages clients’ trademark portfolios is different jurisdictions including international registrations under the Madrid Protocol. He also handles domain name disputes through UDRP proceedings and litigation.

Mr. Ghayyur also advises clients on legal and regulatory issues on matters pertaining to protection of trade secrets, corporate structuring, company formation, franchising and partnerships.
